Do I have to book through Thomson to use Travel Buddy? |

No, you can use Travel Buddy regardless of which holiday operator or airline you book through, simply register your details through the website. |

Do I have to re-register when I go on a new holiday? |
|

If you want to use location based services such as Weather or WOT while you are away, then you will have to register your new holiday with us. However, you can still use Travel Buddy abroad without re-registering and easily find out anything you want to about your destination by using the AAQ service. |

It is not necessary for you to state your location if you have registered your holiday with us. |

Why did I receive an error message when I tried to use WOT (What's on tomorrow)? |

WOT is a location based service for your holiday, it does not continue when you return to the UK, however you can still use the other services: News, Football and AAQ. |

You can use Travel Buddy in many countries throughout Europe, North Africa and Egypt. We are currently expanding so soon it will be available worldwide. |

If your destination is not listed or shown on one of our maps then it means that we haven't yet finished the location based content for that specific place, don't forget that you can still use News, Football and AAQ though! |

We currently have translators for the following languages: Arabic, Bulgarian, Croatian, Czech, Dutch, French, Greek, Italian, Portuguese, Spanish and Turkish. |

No, you just pay once to download the translator and then you can use it whenever and wherever you want. |

Our team of worldly wise and knowledgeable 'textperts' are on-hand around the clock waiting to research and answer your questions. For those of you on a registered holiday you can ask us anything you wish to know about your destination without having to state your location. |

How do you know where I am? |

If you have registered your holiday with us then we already know your location and we will use that information in order to understand & answer your question in the best way possible. If you are not registered you can still ask location based question as long as you remember to tell us where you are! |

Yes, we keep a record of all your questions and answers, this also means if you weren't registered but asked us a location based question you do not need to restate your location in your next question. |

We endeavour to answer all questions in one SMS text message, however if this is not possible we will still only charge you for one. |

Travel Buddy Costs are as follows:
Travel Buddy Translator: £3 to download
Travel Buddy Registration: £3 or free if you book through Thomson (ask when you book your holiday)
Weather, News, Football, WOT and AAQ services all cost £1 (upon answer) the initial text costs your standard operating charge.
Requesting additional info from Travel Buddy following receipt of 'Whats On' information will cost between 25p and £1.
All prices include VAT.
